Michael Bay is back for another, longer prequel.
In Transformers Dark Of The Moon, Shia LaBeouf returns as Sam Witwicky. When a mysterious event from Earth's past erupts into the present day it threatens to bring a war to Earth so big that the Transformers alone will not able to help us. The film is again directed by Michael Bay. The film is released in 3D and IMAX 3D.
If you're looking for a action-packed weekend, I suggest you to see this. Here, there's countless action and yeah a lot more Bay explosions. This film is so long I got to the point that there's no story at all. Just action, explosions, action, explosions and the end credits. I feel I like watch this film in a hour that I was surprised to see the end credits. The story kinda suck but this is much better than the crappy Revenge Of The Fallen.
Shia LaBeouf did a fine job in this film. You might expect his acting in the first two in this film. He almost did the same unusual, weird acting that I hate about him. To Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, I know Megan Fox so, who gives s$#t in Megan Fox. Good job Bay for choosing Whiteley. Whiteley is alot more better than Fox. White did a good performance in this acting debut. And also Patrick Dempsey, I think he did a good villain in this film. He's so bad as a villain, I would smack him in the face. So, good job Patrick!
The 3D in this film is okay. Good thing that Bay shot most of the scenes in 3D, which is amazing. The depth and visuals in this film is awesome in 3D. Also, the parachute-thingy scene is better if seen in 3D. I didn't get the chance to see it in IMAX so I think it's okay if I see it in a regular 3D cinema.
Overall, the film is kinda lame. It's so long, you might the real story of this film. The visuals is nice but the overuse of explosions kinds distracts me in this film. So, Bay, limit your explosions. The 3D was great and acting is alright.
The Geek gave it 6.7/10. My only problem in this film is it's duration. Kinda long but the film is okay. I'll return for another review. So, see you next time!
