Does 'The Dark Knight' Prologue Draw Inspiration In This Scene?

So, I just saw this 80s Adventure movie called BMX Bandits (which is actually pretty bad by the way) and I kinda notice something familiar when I get to the 3-minute mark of the film. It is a bank heist involving a big vehicle and masks. 

It took me a while to remember that this is actually similar to the 'The Dark Knight' prologue which also features masks and windows crashed by a vehicle. It is also reported that Christopher Nolan is a big fan of BMX Bandits and says he took homage of that bank robbery sequence to the opening sequence of The Dark Knight.
