A great casting news has circulated the Internet this morning as Oscar Isaac has been tapped to play Apocalypse villain in the upcoming 'X-Men: Apocalypse'.
At least we got a confirmation of who's gonna play the big baddie, with terrific names like Tom Hardy to Idris Elba on the list.
This is a phenomenal year for Isaac since early Awards buzz has sprung for his performance in 'A Most Violent Year' (opposite Jessica Chastain), and being one of the key cast members in next year's 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'.
The film, which is set for a release in May 2016, is said to be the most destructive of all 'X-Men' films.
“‘Apocalypse’ will have more of the mass destruction that ‘X-Men’ films, to date, have not relied upon,” he recently said. “There’s definitely now a character and a story that allow room for that kind of spectacle.”
Director Bryan Singer is returning to helm the franchise he helped built, stars Hugh Jackman James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence reprises their roles.
