A DVD release party happened last Friday, Dec. 18 at Lucky Chinatown wherein the film's stars John Arcilia, Mon Confiado, Archie Alemania and Alex Medina graced the event with their matching on-screen costumes.
The film is a critical and financial hit on its theatrical release, that even cinema chains extends its run 10 weeks from its original release. Bringing it on DVD would be a great chance for other people, even to Filipinos abroad to see the movie that is even passed as the Philippine's entry to the next Oscars.
In line with 'Heneral Luna's home video release, a DVD was announced for Tarog's previous directorial efforts: Senior Year and Sana Dati.
