The first trailer for Jason Paul Laxamana's sci-fi film 'Instalado' has been released, showing McCoy De Leon's debut in the silver screen.
The film, which also stars Jun-jun Quintana and Francis Magundayao, is set in the future, where installation of knowledge to the human brains is considered as the highest form of education.
Victor, played by De Leon of It's ShowTime, "cannot afford the sky-high cost of installation, which he believes is the key to improve his family's life. To raise money for installation, Victor abandons farming and works as the housekeep of a wealthy childhood friend who has become extremely successful after undergoing a series of installations."
'Instalado' will be shown in select cinemas (Gateway Mall, Robinsons Galleria, SM Megamall, Greenbelt 1 and SM Manila) from July 12 to 18 as part of ToFarm Film Festival 2017.
