Film Development Council of the Philippines Chairperson Liza Diño-Seguerra announced the (number) entries to participate in the second edition of Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP).
Here are the films joining the second edition of the festival, revealed during its grand launch at Sequoia Hotel:
• MADILIM ANG GABI by Adolfo Alix Jr.
• PINAY BEAUTY by Jay Abello
• WE WILL NOT DIE TONIGHT by Richard Somes

• HIGH TIDE by Tara Illenberger
• PAKI by Giancarlo Abrahan
• TU PUG IMATUY by Arnel Barbarona
• BALANGIGA: HOWLING WILDERNESS by Khavn dela Cruz
• KIKO BOKSINGERO by Thop Nazareno
The festival serves a nationwide celebration of Philippine cinema, participated by all cinemas locally, excluding special venues such as IMAX and 4DX, to screen Filipino films exclusively.
Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2 is running from August 15 to 21, 2018.
The first year of PPP released the likes of 'Birdshot' by Mikhail Red and 'Patay Na Si Hesus' by Victor Villanueva, both received acclaims internationally.

A distraught man named Kai meets Lani, a woman who helps him mend his brokenness and soon tags her as his “Ms. Repairman.”
• UNLI LIFE by Miko Livelo
Benedict, a famous podcast DJ is given several chances to travel back in time to change events that affects his lovelife whenever he drinks ‘wishky’ in a bar called “Turning Point.”
• WE WILL NOT DIE TONIGHT by Richard Somes
Kray is a stuntwoman, aspiring actress and an all-around racketeer who can’t seem to get a break. A botched deal goes total haywire and will challenge her principles and skillset as she fights for her life.
