(UPDATE: The cinema release of Dito at Doon this March 17 has been postponed. It will premiere online through various on-demand and streaming platforms)
TBA Studios' Dito at Doon is now heading to March 31 through on-demand and streaming platforms, the studio announced after putting on hold the planned March 17 cinema release of the film.
The romantic film top-billed by Janine Gutierrez and JC Santos will be available at Cinema '76 at Home, KTX.ph, Ticket2Me, and iWantTFC. Those who are already reserving their tickets can avail the on-going early bird promo of PHP 300 per ticket (regular price is at PHP 350).
Dito at Doon, which marks director JP Habac's return to full-length form after the Gaya sa Pelikula online series, is a love story set in the pandemic era.
Star Janine Gutierrez plays Len, a woman living alone during the lockdown will meet Cabs (JC Santos) during an online drinking session or "e-numan". The two would eventually find comfort in each other during a challenging time wherein people are forced to be physically apart.
“We know how much it means for a lot of people to finally share this experience together on the big screen and we feel positive that there would still be a chance for us to do so. But for now, we are happy to offer an accessible and convenient alternative for Filipino movie fans eagerly waiting to see ‘Dito at Doon’,” said TBA Studios' CEO E.A. Rocha.
